Report: Tatneft buys chain of gas stations in Turkey for $320 mln
ISTANBUL, Apr 7 (PRIME) -- Russian oil company Tatneft has acquired the Turkish chain of more than 570 gas stations for U.S. $320 million, Yeni Akit reported on Friday citing the former co-owner of the chain Turkish Dogan Holding company.
“According to the agreement concluded on April 4, 100% of Aytemiz Akaryakit was sold for $320 million to Tatneft,” the newspaper reported quoting the Turkish company’s statement.
In February, Tatneft’s board of directors approved the opening of representative office in Turkey. The company's main business is in Russia.
According to the financial portal Kap, the revenue of Aytemiz Akaryakit was more than 29 billion Turkish liras or more than $1.5 billion in 2022.
